Bionic Torque Sensor

The torque sensor is a game changer technology in Niolex bike, that uses a precision strain gauge. It measures your actual force applied on the bike's pedal, sampling at 1,000 times per second over the whole entire pedal stroke.

A torque sensor measures how hard and the amount of force applied on the pedal by the rider to determine how much electric power to push to the bike's motor. The harder you pedal, the more power it gives to the motor.
